Bruce Charonnat, Principal
Bruce brings to each project more than 20 years of experience in art direction and graphic communication across multiple media. His clients benefit from his 12 years of experience in web design and information architecture, as well as his five years in software user interface development.
Prior to Tangible, he spent 6 years as co-founder and principal of BranchLogic, Inc., developing, managing, and delivering a full range of web design services, including user research, information architecture, interaction design, graphical user interface design, usability testing, and site strategy, and employing a variety of user-centered design methodologies.
Before BranchLogic, Bruce worked as art director and senior information architect on Adobe.com. He art-directed the redesign and launch of the site in 1995, and supervised all architecture, navigation, and template design for the site until 1998.
Prior to Adobe, Bruce was principal of Bruce Charonnat Design, consulting with corporations on user interface design for Macintosh software. Clients included Apple Multimedia Lab, Pillar Corporation, Mitem Corporation, MacUser Magazine, and Clement Mok designs.
Bruce has held a number of art director positions within the publishing industry, including Macworld magazine, for which he was the founding Art Director. Skilled in functional artistry, Bruce has executed graphic and user interface design projects for a wide range of clients, and has lectured extensively on the use of personal computers in publishing.
