Intuit ProTax

Challenge: Intuit’s professional tax software team, ProTax, engaged us to create intuitive and effective sites that were prospect-focused, driving conversion of users and offering value to both current and future customer bases.

  • Evaluation of Existing Information Architecture: The ProTax team already possessed extensive user information. After a series of internal interviews and document research, our team evaluated the existing information architecture for problems and key selling points, high-level tasks, and high-level products and services.

  • New Information Architecture: Our team developed the new information architecture, screen flows, and wireframes for the home page, products and solutions areas. Both the Lacerte and ProSeries sites required similar architectural conventions in order to simplify the CMS implementations.

  • Designed for Consumers: ProSeries: We next looked at the two sites individually and created visual designs that were branded specifically for their unique target audience profiles. Shown here is the ProSeries brand treatment, designed with consumers in mind.

  • Designed for High-End Users: Lacerte: Creating a more sophisticated visual design for the Lacerte audience, who do not identify with consumer software products, necessitated a more sophisticated usage of color and typography.

  • Delivery for CMS: Finishing our engagement, we delivered clean CMS template-ready code and specs which enabled an easy CMS implementation.

Solution

We created two sites: one for ProTax’s ProSeries product line and one for their high-end Lacerte product.
