Sustainable Minds

Challenge: Sustainable Minds asked us to develop their website to inform and convert industrial designers into purchasers of their Sustainability Assessment tool. Additionally they asked us to organize and develop an information architecture for hundreds of pages of information about Sustainability Assessments

  • Concept Model of entire content ecosystem was done to understand the content spaces, overlaps and gaps.

  • Architecture diagrams developed from concept model and sketching out interactions. Working with the client, we identified areas where the content would live on its own and where it would be embedded contextually into the application.

  • Through a competitive audit of similar Software-As-Service sites we identified best practices in content organization and presentation.

  • Best practices for SaaS and conversion were synthesized and designed into a recommendation for the site homepage.

  • Wireframes were fleshed out for the products area of the site and for the purchase flow. Specifications indicate to development how parts of the site work and variations.

Solution

Tangible UX worked with Sustainable Minds to help clarify and organize a large body of content that would live in the companion website as well as within the web application. In a second engagement, we designed the surrounding website for the application that would educate customers on the software offerings and move them through a multi-option purchase process.
