Key to successful interface design is the organization, navigation and findability of information. Done well, a good information architecture enables the user to easily find and manage information.

  • In order to understand each user type’s unique information needs, we conduct task- and goal-focused interviews with target users. From the interview transcripts we comb hundreds of user tasks which are then affinitized. This is a long process which ultimately yeilds rich data that is both high-level and detailed. This data can be used for many prurposes, from establishing site structure to determining content strategy.

  • Creating the site structure map of a site is an important step in understanding how users are going to flow through the site’s body of information.
